      <image:caption>I started my fitness journey with Perseverance Fitness in 2018. I was new to town, and came across their Facebook page, and figured I would try it out. I’m not a fan of big gyms so these 30-45 min small classes seemed great. I showed up super nervous and out of shape. Once there, I was welcomed by everyone, had a quick chat with Katelyn, and set up. I loved that the class was positive, motivating, and fun. It was hard but I pushed through using the modified workouts. I had tried it out but didn’t start going regularly. After hurting my back in 2019, I stopped completely. I was off work, injured, and went through some major depression. In Jan 2021, I was at my heaviest weight—192lbs. I decided that something had to change. Thankfully through the pandemic, Perseverance Fitness offered online classes 3 times a week, 30 mins each. Everything was on a private page and I could complete them at my own convenience. I tell you, the first few months were a struggle, but I started noticing my strength coming back. I started seeing progress. That was when I decided I should take before and after pictures to help me work even harder. If I could already feel and see just a little what if I worked harder? The online group of ladies is supportive and motivating. We use weekly goal check-ins, updates, and fun contests. It’s a great all-around group. Fast forward to now, I’m completing all of the work outs and repeating them on off days or doubling up on some days. I’m down to 151 lbs and feeling better than I ever have in my life. I have abs! And I’m slowly starting to see them form. I couldn't have gotten this far without the support and motivation from my amazing trainer Katelyn Williams at Perseverance Fitness. I am no longer in the Mission area, but I can still attend the classes. I also have to thank the wonderful group of ladies in the online classes for being so supportive! - Pam C</image:caption>
